NHL Waiver Wire News: 3 Notable Goalies Hit The Waiver Wire
Three more notable goaltenders have hit the waiver wire on Sunday, and as per insider Elliotte Friedman, any or all of the three of them could be claimed.
More goalies of note on waivers today: DiPietro (BOS), Daws (NJ), Stevenson (WASH)...they have all had interest

Just last week, Friedman told us that teams will be "looking hard" at both Michael DiPietro of the Boston Bruins and Clay Stevenson of the Washington Capitals. We can add Nico Daws of the New Jersey Devils to that waiver list as well.
The Bruins just signed DiPietro to a two-year deal with a $812.5K cap hit this summer, and it's unknown if that extra year could be a deterrent for teams considering a claim.
The 26-year-old has been sensational for the Providence Bruins of the AHL the past couple of seasons. Last year, he posted a .927 save percentage and a 2.05 goals-against average with a 26-8-5 mark. He has started three NHL games for the Vancouver Canucks, the last time being in 2021-22.
Stevenson, 26, made 33 stops on 38 shots on the final day of the regular season in his lone NHL appearance last season with the Caps. In the AHL, with the Hershey Bears, he went 18-8-4 with a 2.94 GAA and .888 Sv%.
Daws, 24, has had some regular work as a backup with the Devils over the past few years, and posted a .939 save percentage in six appearances last season. Overall, in 47 NHL games, he has an .898 Sv% and 2.98 GAA.
New Jersey has Jacob Markstrom and Jake Allen locked in as their tandem between the pipes.
