VIEDO: Leon Draisaitl Goes OFF on Coaches & Teammates After Disappointing Loss
After three straight disappointing losses, Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl absolutely went off on his coaches, teammates, goalies, and anyone else associated with the disappointing run they've been on. He did not hold back. Watch:

“You need everybody,” Draisaitl said. “It starts with coaches, like everybody, like you’re never gonna win if you have four or five guys going. And it starts at the top. We can be better. Our leaders can be better...Leon Draisaitl was brutally honest post-game last night about the issues the Oilers need to clean up 😬🫣 pic.twitter.com/lPshEZExHU

'I think there's saves that our goalies need to make at some point': Draisaitl
"We've got to defend better, we've got to make it easier on (goalie Tristan Jarry), and then I’m sure he can be a little bit better too... I think there’s saves that our goalies need to make at some point.” Ouch.
Those comments come just five days after Jarry had fired the first salvos, blasting his new team's defense.
“It’s tough, the chances we’re giving up, some of the shots, they’re tough,” said Jarry, who was brought in back in December to be the 'answer' in goal. “A lot of Grade A’s (chances), a lot of breakdowns. It’s tough to really think about your game at this point, it’s a whole team game.”
It was a 7-3 whipping at the hands of the Minnesota Wild that triggered those comments from Jarry. That game was followed by a 5-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs and then last night's 4-3 loss to their bitter Alberta rivals, the Calgary Flames.
Some are even wondering if head coach Kris Knoblauch is in jeopardy after hearing Drai's rant that targeted coaching. It's doubtful, but Oilers analyst David Staples feels that perhaps an assistant or two could take a fall.
The Oilers will now have the two-week Olympic break to think about all this sniping back and forth, and figure out how to right the ship for the stretch run.
