Breaking: Minnesota Wild Acquire 10-Year Veteran Forward
The Minnesota Wild will be busy this week as we head to Friday's trade deadline. They're expected to make another big splash. For now, they have hit the waiver wire to claim 10-year veteran forward Robby Fabbri from the St. Louis Blues.

Fabbri adds another depth forward to the mix for the Wild. He has had four 15+ goal seasons in his career, including 18- and 17-goal years with the Detroit Red Wings within the last four seasons. He also has a Stanley Cup ring from playing a depth role with the St. Louis Blues in 2019.
In 15 games with the Blues this year, he's only averaged 12:36 of ice time, and has four points with 34 hits. But he's been versatile, lining up six times at left wing, once at center, and eight times on right wing. He's also picked up three starts at center for Charlotte in the AHL.
The 30-year-old was a first-round pick (21st overall) in the 2014 NHL draft by the St. Louis Blues. He spent four years there, then to the Detroit Red Wings for five years, one season in Anaheim, and then back to the Blues this year. He has 107 goals and 220 points in 457 NHL games.
