3 Boston Bruins Offseason Top-Six Winger Targets
The Boston Bruins should be looking to add at least one top-six winger to their roster during the offseason. It is clear that they could use more skill in their top six, so it could be a busy summer for the Black and Gold.
Because of this, let's look at three wingers who the Bruins should strongly consider targeting during the offseason.
Brock Boeser, Vancouver Canucks
With the Canucks being in a full rebuild, the possibility of Boeser being moved during the summer is certainly there. The 29-year-old forward would be an excellent addition to Boston's top six if acquired and would be a clear fit on their second line. According to RG's James Murphy, the Bruins had interest in Boeser leading up to the deadline, so Boston GM Don Sweeney likes the player.
Jordan Kyrou, St. Louis Blues
With the Bruins in desperate need of another top-six right winger, Kyrou is another player who they should have on their radar this offseason. He would give their top six a major boost if acquired, as he is a 30-goal and 70-point threat when playing at his best. He would also be more than a rental for the Bruins if acquired, as he has an $8.125 million cap hit until the end of the 2030-31 season.
Alex Tuch, Buffalo Sabres
If Tuch ends up hitting the free agent market this offseason, the Bruins need to make a major push for him. The Bruins have been connected to him in the past, as Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman believed they expressed interest in him ahead of the 2024 NHL trade deadline. It would make sense if they were interested in him again this summer, as he could slot perfectly in their top six and on their power play. Tuch would give the Bruins a much-needed star power forward and would be a perfect fit on their roster because of it.
