3 Offseason Trade Destinations for Blues' Pius Suter
The St. Louis Blues had a very disappointing 2025-26 season and changes to their roster should be on the way this summer because of it. One Blues player who has the potential to be moved during the offseason is forward Pius Suter. The 29-year-old forward will be entering the final season of his contract in 2026-27, so the Blues could very well listen to offers for him as they head toward a rebuild.
Because of this, let's look at three teams that could target Suter this summer.
Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets stand out as a team that could pursue Suter during the offseason. The Blue Jackets could use a versatile forward who plays multiple positions and kills penalties, and Suter would give them just that. He could fit nicely in the Blue Jackets' top nine because of this, so they could be a team to keep an eye on when it comes to the veteran forward.
Winnipeg Jets
The Jets are another team that could use a player like Suter. There is no question that they could use more secondary offensive production, so Suter would be a solid forward for them to add to their roster. Whether he played center or on the wing, he would be a good addition to the Jets' third line if acquired.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers also would make sense as a suitor for Suter during the summer. Their bottom six has struggled this season, and bringing in a player like Suter would have the potential to give them a nice boost next season. Suter could work nicely as the Oilers' third-line center, but also could move to either wing due to his versatility.
