4 St. Louis Blues Offseason Trade Candidates

Robert Thomas, St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Blues will undoubtedly be a team to watch very closely during the summer. They kicked off their rebuild ahead of the deadline, as they traded Brayden Schenn and Justin Faulk. Yet, the Blues should have multiple more moves on the way during the summer.

Because of this, let's take a look at four Blues who could be on the move this offseason.

Robert Thomas, C

Thomas was the NHL's biggest trade candidate leading up to the deadline, but ended up staying put. The Blues are expected to listen to offers for him again during the offseason, and he should generate a ton of interest. First-line centers like Thomas do not hit the trade market often, so St. Louis could get a massive return for him.

Jordan Kyrou, RW

Kyrou has been a trade candidate for quite some time and could use a change of scenery at this point.  Teams looking for a top-six winger should be in the mix for the 27-year-old this offseason. This is especially so when noting that this year's free agency class does not offer many notable right wing options after Alex Tuch.

Colton Parayko, D

Parayko blocked a trade to the Buffalo Sabres ahead of the deadline, but the possibility of him being traded to another team this summer should not be ruled out. It is clear that the Blues are ready to deal the 6-foot-6 defenseman. Perhaps he would be open to waiving his no-trade clause during the summer if it means joining a top contender.

Jordan Binnington, G

Binnington is one of the NHL's top trade candidates heading into the offseason. The Blues have listened to offers for him for multiple seasons, and it is clear that the veteran netminder could use a fresh start. Expect teams like the Edmonton Oilers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Vegas Golden Knights to kick tires on him.
