Carey Price Attempted NHL Comeback Last Season

There's a ton of speculation circulating online that goaltender Carey Price attempted an NHL comeback last season.

Yes, it's hard to confirm as it wasn't from Price directly, but someone who connected with the former Montreal Canadiens goalie in recent days reports that Price mentioned he attempted to make a comeback at some point last season, but shut things down once the knee pain was too much to ignore.

The interesting part of all of this was the fact Price was technically on the San Jose Sharks last season, so who knows how all of that would have worked out, but the morale of the story here is the sad fact that Price had his career taken from him because of injuries.

Price last suited up during the 2021-22 season when he appeared in five games, recording a 1-4-0 record, along with a 3.63 GAA and .878 Sv.%. Now we wait to see if the Canadiens hire Price as a goalie coach or consultant heading into next season and beyond.
