NHL Rumors: 3 Free-Agent Destinations for Predators' Erik Haula

Erik Haula, Nashville Predators

Nashville Predators forward Erik Haula should generate some interest this offseason if he decides to test the free-agent market. The 35-year-old forward had a solid 2025-26 season with the Predators, as he recorded 14 goals, 24 assists, and 38 points in 81 games. With numbers like these, he showed that he can still provide decent offensive production.

Because of this, let's take a look at three teams that could look to sign Haula if he tests free agency.

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets could be a team to keep an eye on when it comes to Haula. One of their biggest needs is more depth down the middle, and Haula would provide them with just that if signed. He could fit well in their top nine and would also give them another option to work with for their power play and penalty kill.

Florida Panthers

The Panthers could look to bring in a forward like Haula for more depth. The Panthers could use a boost in their bottom six, so it would make sense for them if they signed Haula to an affordable one-year contract. He also previously played for Florida during the 2019-20 season.

Seattle Kraken

The Kraken desperately need to improve their depth offensive production, so Haula could make sense as a free-agent target for them during the summer. While he would not address their need for another top-six forward, he would give them a solid veteran to work with on their third line.
