NHL Rumors: 2 Ottawa Senators Offseason Trade Candidates

The Ottawa Senators' playoff run is over after their Game 4 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. With this, the Senators are now entering the summer with plenty of questions regarding their roster.

Because of this, let's take a look at three Senators who could be on the move this offseason.

Brady Tkachuk

Tkachuk is the big trade candidate to watch on the Senators. Questions about his future in Ottawa have come up often, and that will only continue to be the case with the offseason now here for the Senators. Teams will be lining out the door to try to land Tkachuk if the Senators make him available, as he is a star power forward and right in his prime at 26 years old. He is signed until the end of the 2027-28 season, which also makes things interesting.

Fabian Zetterlund

Zetterlund could be a trade candidate to keep an eye on from the Senators this offseason. The 26-year-old forward has not been the best fit since being traded to the Senators last season, as his offense has notably dropped. If the Senators want to shake up their roster a bit, the 26-year-old winger could be a decent trade chip for them to dangle. In 82 games this season, he had 17 goals and 33 points.
