NHL Rumors: 3 Seattle Kraken Trade Candidates to Watch
The Seattle Kraken struggled in a major way down the stretch this season and missed the playoffs because of it. With the Kraken having another bad season, it would not be surprising in the slightest if we see shake up their roster this offseason.
Due to this, let's look at three Kraken players who could be traded during the summer.
Jared McCann
McCann has been a popular name in the rumor mill for a while now. With how this season went for Seattle, it would be understandable if they at least listened to offers for the veteran forward this offseason. He would be a popular target for teams looking for more offense in their top six.
Shane Wright
It is safe to say that Wright could use a change of scenery. The young forward has struggled to break out with the Kraken but could hit a new level if given the chance to play for a new team. With Wright being a young center with top-six potential, it is likely that he will have multiple suitors during the summer.
Vince Dunn
Dunn is another Kraken trade candidate to watch during the summer. The 29-year-old defenseman will be a pending unrestricted free agent next season, so he could be a player the Kraken listen to offers for if they do not view him as a long-term part of their plans.
