3 Free-Agent Destinations for Oilers' Jason Dickinson
The Edmonton Oilers have many pending unrestricted free agents heading into the offseason. Among them is forward Jason Dickinson, and he has the potential to generate a good amount of interest if he ends up hitting the market.
Because of this, let's look at three teams that could look to sign Dickinson this summer if he does not end up re-signing with the Oilers.
Ottawa Senators
The Senators could be a team to watch when it comes to Dickinson this offseason. They should be looking to improve their bottom six this summer, and bringing in a veteran center like Dickinson could help them do just that. He would also be a strong fit on their penalty kill due to his solid defensive play.
Dallas Stars
Could the Stars look to reunite with Dickinson this offseason? It would not hurt for them to bring in another center for their bottom six, and he would have the potential to give their forward group a bit of a boost if signed. On a short-term deal, a reunion between the Stars and Dickinson could make sense.
Florida Panthers
The Panthers need to upgrade their bottom six this summer, so a player like Dickinson could grab their attention. He could slot nicely on either their third or fourth line as they look to turn things back around during the 2026-27 season.
