Tuch is signing an eight-year deal with the Capitals at a $10.5 million AAV. The Sabres will get a third-round pick from Washington in return.
The Caps also brought in high-scoring, speedy winger Jordan Kyrou in another blockbuster move this week, and are loading up in their top six.
In 615 games over 10 NHL seasons, the last five with his hometown Sabres, Tuch has recorded 200 goals and 448 points with a +79 rating. He's also handed out 619 hits.
Could these two big moves convince Alex Ovechkin to come back for another year?
More to come...
