John Tortorella Will NOT Return as Vegas Golden Knights Head Coach
John Tortorella is officially finished as head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights. It was a temporary role when he was brought in with a handful of games left in the regular season, as his contract only ran until the end of the campaign.
Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon has announced John Tortorella will not return to the team's coaching staff following the 2025-26 season.

Torts took over a team that was sputtering coming down the stretch, and took them on a wild ride right to the Stanley Cup Finals, finishing just two wins short of the big prize.
He'll now head back to the coaching carousel.
Two teams in the NHL currently have a coaching vacancy: the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers.
More to come...
