Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman is playing hardball with captain Dylan Larkin, after Larkin requested a trade over a month ago. Trade talks have gone nowhere, and Yzerman recently admitted it's not out of the question to see Larkin at Red Wings' training camp come September.

Larkin originally submitted a list of three teams he'd accept a trade to, and they included the Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers, and since trade talks have stalled, it's now being reported that Larkin has added the Dallas Stars to his approval list.

According to MLive's Ansar Khan, Larkin recently added the Stars to his list. Per Khan, the Red Wings got involved with the Stars regarding Wyatt Johnston. However, the Stars weren’t interested in giving away Johnston, with loads of potential and someone they see as a core player moving forward. They did respond by offering up the signing rights to Jason Robertson, who recently turned down an eight-year, $15 million AAV contract from the Seattle Kraken. So far, talks continue to go nowhere.

Larkin's signed through the 2030-31 season at $8.7 million AAV, and holds a no-trade clause until the summer of 2028. In 808 games with the Red Wings, Larkin has scored 276 goals, and posted 643 points.

For now, Larkin's likely heading to Vegas or Minnesota, but frankly, may have to add another couple of teams to his list if he doesn't want to start next season in Detroit.
