Blues Letting Teams Know Multiple Players Are Available
"One thing I kind of heard is that in St. Louis, for example, they have a bunch of NHL guys who are kind of in the bottom six, and not all of them are going to make their team," Friedman said on the 32 Thoughts Podcast. "And I think the Blues have let it be known that if you want some NHL depth, deeper in your roster, guys who've played, we have extras."
A Crowded Bottom Six With Real NHL Bodies
St. Louis currently has Pius Suter, Jonatan Berggren, Alexey Toropchenko, Nathan Walker, Oskar Sundqvist, Dillon Dube, and Jack Finley all pushing for spots in a bottom six that realistically only has room for a handful of them.
Friedman didn't name specific players himself, but the profiles fit what he described: NHL-tested forwards who've played solid minutes but are running out of roster space with the Blues.

Suter is one of the more interesting names in that group.
He's entering the final year of his two-year contract at a $4.125 million cap hit, a number that's high for a pure bottom-six player, but he's shown he can handle a bigger role if a team needs him higher in the lineup.
Sundqvist and Finley have also drawn attention as depth pieces that could appeal to a team looking for size or penalty-kill help, while Berggren, Walker, Toropchenko, and Dube round out a group that gives St. Louis options to move if the right offer comes in.
