Blackhawks' Bowen Byram 'Not Comfortable' To Make His Return
Chicago Blackhawks fans are wondering what's going on with injured defenceman Bowen Byram, and Sportsnet's Frank Seravalli cleared up what exactly is going on. From the sounds of it, Byram's upper-body injury has been medically cleared by the Blackhawks' doctors, but Byram hasn't reached the level of comfort he needs to return to the ice.
Seravalli shed some light on the matter recently:

The Blackhawks paid a premium price of a fourth-overall pick to land Byram last summer from the Buffalo Sabres, and needless to say, things haven't worked out as many would hope to this point of the season. The Blackhawks continue to struggle, meanwhile, Byram has played just six games, has posted one assist, while averaging close to 25 minutes of ice-time a night.
The Blackhawks are trying to upgrade on the trade market at the moment, as GM Kyle Davidson is looking to add a top-line scoring winger, and there's now one in Tampa Bay that wants out, and could be an option.
For now, the Blackhawks continue to talk trade, while they wait for Byram to work back the courage to step onto the ice again.
