The Chicago Blackhawks came to terms with their goaltender, Corey Crawford, for the 2011-2012 season. The Blackhawks signed Crawford to a 3 year deal. The contract is worth $2.67 million per year. The deal was higher and longer than expected given the fact that 2011 was Crawford's first NHL season. He was impressive in net, so he could easily be a serviceable starter for the Blackhawks though there is some risk attached.
