The Calgary Flames re-acquired Michael Cammalleri from the Montreal Canadiens in a blockbuster trade. The 29 year old forward voiced his displeasure with the Habs saying, "I can't accept that we will display a losing attitude as we're doing this year. We prepare for our games like losers. We play like losers. So it's no wonder why we lose."

One day after voicing his displeasure, Cammalleri along with minor-league goaltender Karri Ramo and a fifth round 2012 NHL Draft pick were traded to the Calgary Flames. In return, the Montreal Canadiens acquired Rene Bourque, Patrick Holland and a second round 2013 NHL Draft pick. I predicted this trade last season, so it is no surprise to me. The Calgary Flames are hoping Cammalleri can return to the form that saw him score 81 points with them in one season.
