Evander Kane to New York Islanders

Evander Kane of the Winnipeg Jets has been linked to many teams in the 2014 NHL offseason. Kane does not enjoy his environment in Winnipeg and wants to start fresh with a new team.

The 22 year old left winger scored 19 goals and tallied 41 points in 63 games last season. He is a young, power forward, which many teams are interested in acquiring. His contract comes with an annual average salary of $5.25 million until 2017-2018.

The Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers, New York Islanders and Arizona Coyotes have the most interest. The Winnipeg Jets are looking for a top 6 forward and a draft pick in return for Evander Kane.
