BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Kane Changes Plans for his Day with the Stanley Cup

The ongoing police investigation into Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane will not delay his day with the Stanley Cup. The 26 year old plans to spend Saturday privately with the Cup and his family, according to the Associated Press.

Kane has hired attorney Paul Cambria to represent him against accusations of an alleged incident last weekend. Cambria represented Kane when he pleaded guilty to a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct after being accused of assaulting a cab driver in 2009. The Hamburg Police Department confirmed on Friday they are investigating Kane. The police are gathering information and awaiting forensic test results.

Kane originally planned to take the Stanley Cup to visit sick kids at the Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo. After he was supposed to go to Wanaka Golf Club for a promotion with EA Sports. In the evening, he planned to celebrate with the Cup at a downtown bar. There will be no celebration for Kane tonight.
