Video: Brad Marchand mimicks Colton Sissons' embellishment

Late in the first period of Saturday's game between the Nashville Predators and the Boston Bruins, Brad Marchand received a high-sticking penalty for catching Colton Sissons. Marchand protested the phantom penalty since his stick never made contact with Sissons’ face.



When Marchand mimicked Colton Sissons' embellishment on the way to the penalty box, the refs assessed him a second 2-minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

After the first period ended, Marchand continued to protest the penalties, and was assessed a 10-minute misconduct. That's 14 minutes worth of penalties by the refs for a high-stick, which never happened.
