Breaking: Salary Cap Set For It's Biggest Jump Ever in 2019-20

Huge news today out of the league's Board of Governors meetings that we can expect the biggest jump in cap history next season.

Everyone was predicting a slight increase, but this announcement will come as a shock to many.

Salary cap projection for next season is $83 million, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said. Cap this season is $79.5 million. It’s a rough number for next season and can change to go up or down slightly, but the League has been good with these projections in the past.

This is huge news for teams facing a cap crunch, such as San Jose, Toronto, Washington, Los Angeles & Pittsburgh to name a few.

$3.5 Million dollars will undoubtedly give most teams that extra wiggle room they need to keep their teams intact.
