Final injured member of the Humboldt Broncos released from hospital

It’s been almost a year since the Humboldt Broncos were involved in a tragic bus accident, which caused 16 fatalities and 13 injuries.

One of the survivors, defenseman Morgan Gobeil, suffered a traumatic brain injury, multiple skull fractures, three facial fractures, broken ribs and lacerations to his liver and spleen. After 333 days of physical, occupational and speech therapy in the hospital, he is finally headed home to sleep in his own bed!

He has not yet regained his ability to walk or talk, but his family remains hopeful he will recover fully someday. Gobeil's determination is an inspiration to the entire hockey community.
