Report: Mats Zuccarello has agreed on a 5 year contract

According to Michael Russo of the Athletic, the Minnesota Wild are close to signing Mats Zuccarello on a 5 year deal, hovering around $6 million per season.

The 31-year-old Zuccarello is coming off a season which ended early to knee surgery after he was just acquired by the Dallas Stars. Zucc only suited up for 2 games in Dallas, scoring twice and ending his Stars career with 3 points.

Look for the forward to get a ton of opportunity in Minnesota, where it's expected he will see minutes with Mikko Koivu.
