Philadelphia Flyers: 2 Players Who Could Be Traded Next Season

The NHL offseason is underway and there's been a ton of movement so far this summer. Along with mega-contracts being handed out and an expansion draft in Seattle, there's been multiple trades that will have huge impacts on the 2021-22 NHL season. Trades will continue this summer and of course into next season, so we shift our focus to the next deal for each franchise.

Follow along as we highlight a couple of players from each team who are most likely to be traded next season. Last time around we were blazing some country music with the Nashville Predators' trade options, this time around we go out for cheesesteak with the Philadelphia Flyers.

2 Flyers Most Likely Getting Traded Next Season:

Claude Giroux: The long-time Flyer is closer to being traded now than he's ever been due to the fact he's entering the final season of his contract. At this point, the team is certainly going to ride it out as management has brought in a ton of fresh faces, looking to kick-start some success. If the team struggles in the first few months of the season, there's certainly a chance Giroux gets moved at the deadline.

Morgan Frost: The Flyers love Frost but have held his name in trade discussions as recently as last month, so there's certainly NHL interest in this player. At 22, Frost is expected to take a big jump this upcoming season and should get a long look on the team's third-line. If the Flyers are going for it at the trade deadline, Frost will be the prospect dangled in trade offers.
