New Jersey Devils: 2 Trade Rumors Following the Team

The New Jersey Devils are expecting a big season out of their club as the team transitions from a rebuild to having a young talented roster who could potentially sneak into the playoffs. The team made several moves this offseason and it sounds like a couple more could be on the way. Here's two trade rumors that continue to follow the Devils:

PK Subban Done With the Devils

There's been multiple reports about Subban being shipped out of New Jersey and when you're a right-handed shooting defenseman on the final year of your contract, it makes total sense. Subban isn't the player he once was, but on a discount contract after the Devils retain some salary, his new team could be getting a hell of a deal. Rumors have the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs as two teams who have kicked tires and look for the New York Rangers and Seattle Kraken to also be interested.

Offers Keep Coming in for Miles Wood

Rumor has several teams interested in acquiring Wood, who is a pesky forward with size, who can skate like the wind and is coming into his own offensively. Wood who just turned 26 is in the final season of his contract, before he hits free agency on the restricted side. He's coming off a season where he put up 25 points and if the Devils don't get off to a good start and battle for a playoff spot, you can bet the offers increase and Wood likely gets shipped out of Jersey. Teams to look out for are the Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche.
