P.K. Subban Fined For "Dangerous Trip" On Milan Lucic

P.K. Subban has been fined $5,000 for his slew foot on Calgary Flames forward Milan Lucic. However, NHL Player Safety referred to it to as a "dangerous trip."

This is not a good look for Subban, especially when remembering what happened this preseason against the New York Rangers. The 32-year-old defenseman did the same exact thing to enforcer Ryan Reaves. On the play, it seemed Reaves could have had a serious injury, but thankfully that ended up not being the case.

This is something Subban simply needs to stop doing. It also is not the best idea to do it to two players who are known for their immense toughness, either.

It will be interesting to see what his punishment will be if he slew foots another player this season. Here's to hoping it doesn't come to that, but would it be that surprising to see him do it again?
