Two Players Injured For The Arizona Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes have two players who are expected to miss some time. Alex Galchenyuk has an upper-body injury, while Kyle Capobianco has a lower-body one. Each have been deemed as week-to-week. Galchenyuk just signed a one-year contract with the Coyotes earlier this month and is looking to have a strong season. After scoring just one goal in eight games with the Ottawa Senators last season, he regrouped and recorded 12 points in 26 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being traded there.

If he can have a solid season offensively, he could land himself a multi-year deal with the Coyotes. During the 2018-19 season with Arizona, he scored 19 goals and had 41 points. Him being out right before the start of the season is disappointing to see.

This is also hard news for Capobianco, as he is aiming to cement himself a permanent spot in Arizona's defensive group. Last season, he suited up in two games for the Coyotes and did not record a point. With the Tucson Roadrunners, he scored two goals and had 13 points in 20 games.

He's played just 14 games in total over four seasons with Arizona as well and had one goal. Here's to hoping he can jump into their lineup once he is healthy. With the Coyotes truly embracing their rebuild, it could be a great opportunity for the 24-year-old defenseman.
