Money On The Board: NHL's Best Bets for Jan. 11/22

Well folks we almost started the week off in perfect fashion but unfortunately the Washington Capitals couldn't defend home ice. A decent night at 2-1 and I did mention to sprinkle on the over of the Caps/Bruins so let's hope you followed along. Tonight's NHL schedule is jam packed so let's take a dive into some of Tuesday's best bets.

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Anaheim Ducks
Odds: Penguins (1.55) Ducks (2.50)
Worth Considering: The Ducks are great value as a home underdog tonight but once again won't have John Gibson between the pipes. They own a 12-5-4 home record but haven't been playing great of late with a 4-4-2 record in their past 10. The Penguins on the other hand are welcoming back Evgeni Malkin to the lineup and with Tristan Jarry and his .931 save % starting for the Pens, it's hard to bet against them. Look for Pittsburgh to start another win streak.
My Pick: #LetsGoPens
Detroit Red Wings @ San Jose Sharks
Odds: Red Wings (2.20) Sharks (1.70)
Worth Considering: The Red Wings have come back to reality a bit lately, losing two in a row on the west coast. Dylan Larkin is out with an upper body injury. Detroit is 4-11-2 on the road this season. The Red Wings won the last meeting between these two clubs 6-2 on Jan. 4. Regardless, Tomas Hertl is on fire and so is Timo Meier who has nine assists in his past 10 games. The Sharks have won two games in a row and I say they make it three.
My Pick: Take the Sharks
Toronto Maple Leafs @ Vegas Golden Knights
Odds: Maple Leafs (1.83) Golden Knights (2.0)
Worth Considering: There's a vibe in Vegas today after Jack Eichel made his debut with the team. Good thing for the Maple Leafs, it was only practice and he's still three weeks away from game action. The Leafs played a great two periods on Saturday night and then what do you know a 4-1 lead got away from them. Tonight I see them getting back on track as they will be getting Ondrej Kase back, starting Jack Campbell and Auston Matthews is on an absolute tear of late. Toronto won the last meeting 4-0 and I see much of the same happening on Tuesday.
My Pick: Ride with Leafs Nation!

That's it for me and another episode of Money on the Board. 7-6 on the season as we are fresh into this franchise! Let's start a heater tonight and get to padding the stats in early 2022!
