Coyotes Provide Update On Jakob Chychrun

The Arizona Coyotes have announced that Jakob Chychrun will be out for the next two to four weeks due to a lower-body injury.

This injury is not only notable because Chychrun is the team's top defenseman but also because he is one of the biggest names in the rumor mill. However, when looking at the fact that this is looking like a fairly short-term injury, it shouldn't keep teams away from at least trying to acquire him still. Assuming he recovers on schedule, he still would be ready to go by the playoffs.

In 47 games this season, Chychrun has seven goals, 14 assists, and a minus-20 rating. Although his production is lower than last season, it's important to note that he has been dominating lately. Over his last seven games, he had five goals and five assists. However, this awesome stretch of play now has to be put on pause.

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see if Chychrun ends up moving by the end of the week.
