Video: Bruins' DeBrusk Records First Career Hat Trick

During Monday's game against the Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk recorded his first career hat trick.

Since being placed on the first line with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, DeBrusk has been on quite the hot streak. In three games with the famous duo, he now has five goals and two assists. Needless to say, they likely are going to keep running this trio together.

Yet, one also has to remember that DeBrusk requested a trade from the Bruins earlier this season. With this excellent stretch of play, the 25-year-old is definitely raising his trade value. This could help his chances of being moved, as the Bruins want to add a player of equal value to him in any swap.

However, putting all trade talks aside, this was another very good performance from DeBrusk. In 48 games this season, he now has 14 goals to go along with 10 assists. It's safe to say that he is starting to show signs of bouncing back after two rough years.
