Predators Sign Forward

The Predators have signed forward Zach Sanford to a one-year deal worth $850K.

The twenty-seven year old split time between the Senators and the Jets this past season, playing 80 games and scoring nine goals and 12 assists. Sanford took a step back this season, after putting up solid seasons the three prior years for the St. Louis Blues.

Sanford will likely function as a defensive forward for a bottom line role. He comes at a cheap price so it's a fairly solid signing for the Predators to bolster their bottom-six forward depth.

If Nashville can manage to bring back the forward that St. Louis saw from 2018-20, this would be a great deal.
