Seattle Kraken Sign Forward to PTO

The Seattle Kraken may not have sent Daniel Sprong a qualifying offer earlier this offseason, but the door has not been shut on a reunion. The 25-year-old winger has signed a PTO contract with the team.

Sprong will now be hoping to impress at camp, as it could be what lands him a contract with the team for the 2022-23 season. After being traded there from the Washington Capitals last season, he left a pretty good impression offensively, so that could help his chances already. In 16 games, he had a solid six goals.

The Kraken could use a bit more firepower up front, so it makes sense that they are going to take another look at Sprong. Here's to hoping he performs well at camp, and a reunion between both parties comes to fruition.
