Ducks Defenseman Out Long-Term

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Jamie Drysdale has a torn labrum and will be out for the next four-to-six months.

Drysdale's injury occurred against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night. Although he missed the team's last contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs, an update regarding his condition was not announced until now. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old will now be missing most if not all the rest of this season.

With Drysdale being one of the Ducks' top young players, this is horrible to see. The 2020 sixth-overall pick broke out offensively last season, where he had 32 points in 81 games. Fans were excited to see what he'd do this season, but now, we are going to have to wait a while to see him play again from here. In eight games this season, he has zero points and a minus-3 rating.
