St. Louis Blues Forward Clears Waivers

Anthony Angello will be staying put with the St. Louis Blues organization, as he has cleared waivers.

Angello's placement on waivers was expected but delayed due to an injury he suffered during training camp. Yet, now that he is healthy and has since cleared, he is set to join the Springfield Thunderbirds for the start of the 2022-23 season. The 6-foot-6 center should be a solid addition to their group, as he is coming off of a 19-point season in 44 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Angello could very well be a potential call-up option for the Blues when injuries inevitably arise this campaign. However, at least for now, he will be with Springfield aiming to put together a strong season for the AHL squad.
