Chicago Blackhawks Goalie Inching Closer to Return

According to Ben Pope, Chicago Blackhawks goalie Petr Mrazek has been recovery well from his groin injury and could return to the lineup in a week.

Mrazek's return would be greatly appreciated by the Blackhawks, as Chicago has multiple goalies currently sidelined. This led to them signing Dylan Wells to an NHL contract, as they needed a backup. Yet, now with Mrazek's return right around the corner, the Blackhawks have a bit less to worry about in goal.

Looking to have a bounce-back season, Mrazek currently has a 1-1-0 record, .873 SV%, and 3.76 GAA in three appearances. Overall, his tenure with the Blackhawks has started fairly shaky, but look for him to turn things around once he is fully healthy.
