NHL Rumors: Buffalo Sabres Shopping Forward

According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Buffalo Sabres are shopping Vinnie Hinostroza in hopes that he will receive more playing time elsewhere.

After recording a 25-point season in 62 games with the Sabres last season, Hinostroza was brought back to the squad this offseason. Yet, he has not been utilized as often this season due to Buffalo's forward depth. In 19 games on the year, he has zero goals to go along with eight assists. Overall, it has been a bit of a down year for him, but there certainly could still be interest in his services because he is a decent bottom-six forward while playing at his best.

Expect some playoff teams looking to add to their depth to make a push for Hinostroza from here. We will have to wait and see if he finds a new home shortly.
