Colorado Avalanche Rumors: Ducks Forward On Team's Radar

The Colorado Avalanche are heading into the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline with the expectation of being buyers. One area that they are looking to improve is the center position, and they are weighing their options because of it. According to The Fourth Period, they are being linked to Anaheim Ducks forward Adam Henrique.

Although Henrique has primarily played left wing this season, he has plenty of experience playing center. Therefore, he could be a potential option for the Avalanche at 2C if acquired. However, his versatility would also allow him to of course play the wing in Colorado's middle six if needed, too. Either way, there could be a very good match here between both parties.

Henrique has once again been having a solid season this year, as he has 19 goals to go along with 33 points in 56 games. Overall, he would have the potential to be a very good addition to the Avalanche's roster before the postseason, so we will need to wait and see if this interest leads to a trade from here.
