Columbus Blue Jackets Rumors: Insider Links Gavrikov to 3 Teams

Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov is one of the top trade targets heading into the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. As a result of this, interest in his services is increasing, and NHL insider Elliotte Friedman noted that the Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, and Toronto Maple Leafs have all shown interest in Gavrikov.

It makes sense that each of these contenders wants to acquire Gavrikov, as he is a legitimate top-four defenseman who would provide each of their left sides with a major boost. This is because he plays a very responsible game defensively and also brings upon an element of physicality in the process. Thus, he is the kind of player that all postseason teams should be looking at.
