Philadelphia Flyers Rumors: Insider Links van Riemsdyk to 4 Teams

Philadelphia Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk is one of the top forward trade targets available heading into the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. As a result, his trade market is continuing to heat up, as NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that the Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Vegas Golden Knights, and Winnipeg Jets are all interested in acquiring the veteran winger.

When looking at each of these teams' rosters, it makes sense that they are considering the prospect of acquiring van Riemsdyk. After all, they each could use a bit of a boost in their middle six, and JVR can still provide that even at this juncture of his career. The 33-year-old is also still a very effective piece to a power play, as his net-front presence ability is truly excellent.

van Riemsdyk is also having another solid season, as he has nine goals and 22 points in 35 games. Although he is not a star like other trade targets such as Timo Meier, Patrick Kane, and Ryan O'Reilly, he is still a very solid forward. As a result, we will need to wait and see if any of these four teams end up acquiring him before the deadline passes.
