Boston Bruins Clinch Division Crown

Right from the beginning of the 2022/23 NHL season, it was clear that the Boston Bruins were a step ahead of everyone else in the league, and on Saturday with a hard fought victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Bruins officially clinched the Atlantic Division crown, despite some incredibly tough competition.

In just 72 games, the Bruins have racked up a 56-11-5 record, netting them 117 points, putting them ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs (43-19-9 - 95 points) and Tampa Bay Lightning (42-26-6 - 90 points) ahead of what should be a very fun playoff run.

With a deep forward group and some of the best goaltending in the NHL, the Bruins are going to be incredibly tough to stop in the playoffs, but with a second round matchup against either Tampa Bay or Toronto, it's going to be a very fun ride.
