Winnipeg Jets Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players from each team who could be moved during the summer.

In this latest installment, we will be focusing on the Winnipeg Jets.

Pierre-Luc Dubois: Pierre-Luc Dubois is inching closer to his unrestricted free-agent status, and that could lead the Jets to move him this summer. After all, there has been a plethora of speculation about his desire to be a Montreal Canadien. Thus, if PLD does not show any interest in signing a long-term extension this offseason with the Jets, look for them to shop him.

Blake Wheeler: After being stripped of his captaincy at the beginning of this season, there has been speculation over Blake Wheeler's future in Winnipeg. Now with the Jets starting to struggle during this final portion of the year, perhaps they will put more thought into moving the veteran forward this offseason. Although he is 36 years old, there should be a market for him, as he has 50 points in 64 games this season.

Logan Stanley: Logan Stanley will likely be dealt this offseason after reportedly requesting a trade near the deadline. It ultimately makes sense that he wants out of Winnipeg, as the former first-round pick has become the odd man out of their deep blueline. Thus, look for several teams to try to add the 6-foot-7 d-man this summer.
