Nashville Predators Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2023 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this final episode of the series, we will be focusing on the Nashville Predators.

Justin Holl: The Predators could look to improve the right side of their defensive group this offseason. As a result, Justin Holl stands out as a possible target for them. The 6-foot-3 defenseman would have the chance to play top-four minutes when looking at their current group.

Ryan Donato: The Predators could take a chance on Ryan Donato this offseason as well. The 26-year-old center has shown that he can produce in a bottom-six role, but with Nashville, he could be in the running for second-line minutes. In 65 games this season with the Seattle Kraken, he has 14 goals, 12 assists, and a plus-18 rating.

Austin Watson: The Predators lost plenty of toughness when they traded Tanner Jeannot to the Tampa Bay Lightning. As a result, perhaps they could bring back Austin Watson on a cheap one-year deal.
