NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Nick Ritchie This Offseason

Nick Ritchie is a pending UFA who should get some interest around the league. Overall, he is a bottom-six power forward who plays a heavy game and can chip in with secondary scoring. As a result, let's discuss three teams who are expected to target him this offseason.

Philadelphia Flyers: The Philadelphia Flyers could be in the mix for Ritchie's services this summer. After all, the Flyers are known for adding tough and physical players, and Ritchie fits that description. With that, he could be a decent option for their third line when looking at their current group.

Minnesota Wild: The Minnesota Wild will be looking to add to their roster this offseason, but the Ryan Suter and Zach Parise buyouts will make it hard for them to spend a lot. As a result, they could take a chance on Ritchie and add him to their bottom six for some depth scoring.

Winnipeg Jets: One of the Winnipeg Jets' biggest offseason objectives will be to improve their bottom six. Depth scoring was an issue for them in 2022-23, so they could be among the clubs interested in Ritchie this summer.
