NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Vladislav Gavrikov This Summer

Vladislav Gavrikov is expected to test the free-agent market this offseason, and he should get a lot of interest when noting that he is a left-shot, top-four defenseman. As a result, let's discuss three teams expected to target him.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils were linked to Gavrikov before the deadline passed, and they are likely to target him again. This is especially so when noting that Ryan Graves a pending UFA, and the two defensemen play a similar game.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators have shown that they are still competitive even after selling at the deadline. Due to this, they could be aggressive in free agency and sign a player like Gavrikov. Keep in mind, they have a notable hole on their left side after trading away Mattias Ekholm, and Gavrikov could be a solid replacement for him.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators are looking to improve their defensive group this offseason and could bring in Gavrikov because of it. He would fit nicely in their top four, as he plays a very reliable defensive game and can play both sides.
