Flyers Rumors: Team Has One Untouchable Amidst Rebuild

The Philadelphia Flyers appear to be closing in on another big deal as Kevin Hayes' name was brought up as someone who was nearly moved this past week. This will be the talk of the offseason for the Flyers as many of the big-named players are expected to be dealt. Ivan Provorov was just the first as players like Hayes, Carter Hart. Travis Konecny, and Scott Laughton are also expected to be moved.

One player that won't be going anywhere is Cutter Gauthier as Frank Seravalli listed him as the team's only untouchable. The young forward had an incredible World Championships. He scored four goals and 10 points and was arguably one of the best in the tournament.

Gauthier will be returning to Boston College next season, but should make the easy transition right to the NHL after that. There are a lot of other young players on the team that have potential and makes it interesting why there is only one untouchable. In the interest of fans around the league and fans of the Flyers to finally rebuild, this team should provide an exciting offseason.
