NHL Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Jujhar Khaira

Jujhar Khaira is looking for a new home as we inch closer to the middle of August. However, when noting that he is a solid fourth-line forward when playing at his best, there is a chance that he lands a league-minimum deal before the season begins. Let’s discuss two teams who could take a chance on him now.

Edmonton Oilers: A reunion between the Edmonton Oilers and Khaira could make sense. The Oilers recently brought in Brandon Sutter on a PTO, but it would not hurt to take a look at Khaira, too. He could be a candidate for their fourth line if signed, as he would give them more physicality and solid defensive play.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche could also use another bottom-six forward before the upcoming season begins. Khaira would be a nice addition to their fourth line, whether he plays down the middle or on the wing. In either scenario, he would give the Avalanche more depth, and this is something that they certainly could use.

We will need to wait and see if any of these clubs end up signing Khaira before the start of the season from here.
