Kings Rumors: Sharks Forward On Team's Radar

The Los Angeles Kings have been struggling as of late, winning just two out of their last 10 games. Because of this, they have dropped to fourth place in the Pacific Division. This is certainly shocking to see from a team that many believe are contenders, so some roster moves could occur from them before the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline passes.

The San Jose Sharks, on the other hand, are gearing up to be among the NHL's biggest sellers. They are the worst team in the NHL, and they have several assets who they could look to move before the deadline. With the Kings needing a scoring winger, they have a prime trade target in Sharks forward Anthony Duclair.

Duclair has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill for a large portion of the season. It is understandable, as he has an expiring contract, and he has the potential to land the Sharks a decent return because of he is a quality middle-six winger who produces well when playing at his best. As a result, he would be a nice addition to the Kings' top nine if acquired.

The Kings would need to retain some of Duclair's salary in a potential move, but it is quite possible that they would because he is in the final season of his contract. Also, doing this would help the overall return San Jose gets for him in a possible swap.
