Rangers Rumors: Ducks Forwards On Team's Radar

The New York Rangers are gearing up to be big buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. They are among the top teams in the NHL, but they also would benefit by adding another middle-six forward to their group before the deadline passes.

The Anaheim Ducks, on the other hand, are expected to be major sellers at the deadline, as they are one of the worst teams in the league. Due to this, Frank Vatrano and Adam Henrique have been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill over the last few months, and the Rangers are a clear team to watch when it comes to these two forwards.

The Blueshirts know Vatrano very well, as he briefly played for them back during the 2021-22 season. He was a very solid fit in their top nine, and he certainly could be again. With that, he is also having the best season of his career, as he has 21 goals to go along with 33 points in 46 games. He also has been named to his first All-Star Game.

As for Henrique, he could be an excellent option for the Rangers' third-line center spot. With Filip Chytil out indefinitely due to his long-term concussion, the Rangers would be wise to bring in a player like Henrique for the 3C role as a rental. He would also give them more leadership, as he has a ton of NHL experience.

We will need to wait and see if either of these players ends up being moved to the Rangers before the deadline passes from here.
