Avalanche Rumors: 3 Possible Offseason Suitors for Jonathan Drouin

After a very tough tenure with the Montreal Canadiens, Jonathan Drouin has regained his previous form with the Colorado Avalanche. He has emerged as a notable part of their top six because of his solid offensive production. As a result, if the Avalanche do not get him signed to an extension, he could be a hot commodity in free agency. Let's discuss three specific clubs who could target him now.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators are likely going to look to add at least one winger in free agency. They traded Vladimir Tarasenko to the Florida Panthers at the trade deadline, and Dominik Kubalik is a pending UFA. Drouin could be a nice addition to their middle six and would surely give their power play a boost if signed.

Pittsburgh Penguins: The Pittsburgh Penguins are likely to browse the free-agent market for forward help. Their middle six certainly could use some help, and Drouin would have the potential to provide them with just that. He also could thrive on their power play with players like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin to work with.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames were major sellers this season, but they are not rebuilding. Instead, they are going to try to add to their roster this offseason, and they absolutely need forward help. Thus, don't be surprised if they consider adding Drouin to their group.
